In the small town of Moberly, Missouri, just 45 minutes north of Columbia on Highway 63 is a beautiful art gallery in the most unexpected place.
The Evelyn E. Jorgenson Fine Arts Gallery has featured a variety of shows from Mid-Missouri throughout its history and has numerous art fanatics walk through its doors.
The Jorgenson Gallery, as its better known as, is tucked away on the campus of Moberly Area Community College's (MACC). If you drove by MACC you might never know that it is there. It looks normal right?
In the right-wing of the campus is where the gallery is located. The former gymnasium was converted into a fine arts wing that holds classes for students in addition to the gallery.
When you walk in the space it's like a breath of fresh air. The comfy couches give the space a warm and inviting feeling, while the unique art and clean lines add a modern touch.
This space has numerous shows throughout the year.
The gallery is free and open to the public Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. If a large group were interested in a special tour on weekends please contact email@example.com to make arrangements.
