September means one thing for the Moberly Region and that is events, events and more events. There is something going on every weekend in Randolph County, which is great, but we know it is going to be a busy month. Let us show you Moberly and discover the events that you don’t want to miss in September.
The first featured event revolves around planes and will be a great event for kids. The 10th Annual Omar Bradley Airport Fly-In will take place on September 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Omar Bradley Regional Airport. Breakfast, lunch and face painting will be available.
Additionally, children ages 8-14 years old will have the opportunity to get a free plane ride, all other ages will be able to do so with a donation. If you are looking for something to do, with or without kids this will be a great community event to attend.
That following weekend, September 13th-15th is the 150th Year of the Randolph County Old Settlers. Some of their special events include a petting zoo, a queen pageant, vendor booths, a parade, bounce houses, a mud bog and musical entertainment. This is a exciting annual event that is a great reason to invite your family to come back to Randolph County. For a complete schedule of events click here.
The last event that we want to highlight is Junk Junktion, Moberly’s First Vintage Market. It will be held on September 29th from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Historic Downtown Reed Street. This event will showcase area vendors that sell antiques, vintage or re-purposed items and other specialty pieces. For more information on this event call 660-263-6070 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

Attending these events are the perfect way to start out the fall season. We hope that you will come out and explore Moberly this September.
