You might know of Moberly Area Community College, but did you know that this community college has a long-standing record of having a fantastic collegiate basketball program?
The MACC Greyhounds and Lady Hounds are one of the most exciting teams to watch in sports in Mid-Missouri, and one of the most affordable too.
The Greyhounds and Lady Hounds play at the MACC Activity Center and for adults, the cost is only $10 per game. You can't beat that price.
The MACC Cheerleaders also perform at each home game.
Their basketball season runs through early November to mid-March depending on if they get to the NJCAA Tournament or not.
For the second straight year, the Greyhounds won the Region 16 Championship which advances them to the District Championship on Saturday, March 7th at 7pm. So far, the Greyhounds record is 26-6 and they are ranked #19 in the nation.
The Lady Greyhounds (28-4) are no stranger to accolades, as well. On Saturday, February 29th they defeated Three Rivers Community College to clinch the Region XVI Championship. Their next game will be held at Western Iowa Community College for the District Championship.
Both teams are exceptional in what they do and make for a fantastic evening of entertainment.
