The Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with area school districts invites you to join the first annual Employer Showcase at Moberly High School on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
As a Community, we invest in our students; we encourage them to grow, graduate and then find their future.
Too often it’s assumed that in order for our students to achieve their goals they must move far away. What if they could find it here close to home? The Chamber of Commerce Employer Showcase gives students in grades 8 to 12, a local perspective on jobs that exist within our county; careers they may not have ever considered. From accounting to agriculture and welding to weddings, keeping our students local grows our community for the future.
We want our students to see representatives from every profession our county offers. The Employer Showcase is broken up into six career paths: From 9am to 3:30, students from schools around Randolph County will meet at MHS.
After a series of motivational classroom events, they will transfer to the gym where you’ll share what positions exist in your company or profession. While you may meet some amazing individuals, this isn’t just a recruitment event. We want our students to see what’s possible, close to home. Be ready to share what educational and experience requirements are needed at your company, at every level, not just your current openings.
From 3:30 to 6PM, the event will be open to the public for an employment fair, giving you the chance to meet prospective job candidates.
We have 65 openings available to cover all of Randolph County. Register now to invest in our community’s future by sharing your path to success with our students.
