Moberly has the majority of shopping options for the county. Its retail shopping hub begins downtown on West Reed Street. The original shopping district for Moberly, it is filled with retail shops, banks, pharmacies, restaurants, and antique stores. The Main Street Moberly association works together with downtown merchants on special sales and entertainment promotions, such as August’s Sidewalk Sale, Magic City May Festival, parades, and a holiday tradition, Living Windows. The downtown streets come alive with the spirit of the Christmas season, as the windows are filled with live holiday scenes and entertainment. The fastest growing shopping region in Moberly is the junction of Highways 24 and 63. Several national retail chains as well as locally owned independent shops call this area home.
