Moberly has the majority of shopping options for the county. Its retail shopping hub begins downtown on West Reed Street. The original shopping district for Moberly, it is filled with retail shops, banks, pharmacies, restaurants, and antique stores. Need a key made, a computer repaired, a prescription filled, new outfit for you or the kids, formal wear, or a letter jacket for your favorite high school student? Downtown retailers can take care of those needs as well.

The Main Street Moberly association works together with downtown merchants on special sales and entertainment promotions, such as August’s Sidewalk Sale, Magic City May Festival, parades, and a holiday tradition, Living Windows. The downtown streets come alive with the spirit of the Christmas season, as the windows are filled with live holiday scenes and entertainment. Large crowds enjoy strolling the streets, hearing carols, and sipping hot chocolate.
