The Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce is the first contact most businesses, employers, employees, and new comers make when looking at this community. We put all of the crucial information right in their hands, making their choice to locate in our community an easy one. We keep all of the statistical and business information up to date. We recommend our Chamber members when asked who or where to shop. We promote doing business at home, spending your dollars with your local retailers and merchants, and we work to keep our community growing. Each year we mail out over 5,000 informational mailers promoting Moberly to businesses and other people looking at our community. All businesses should be involved in the promoting and advertising of their communities to bring in growth and You should be involved.

What is your Chamber of Commerce?

How will my business benefit from being a member of the Chamber?

Your business will benefit through additional contacts and increased networking opportunities, referrals we give to requests for information, community and business information through newsletters and e-mails, visibility through involvement, and participation. There are opportunities to network with over 250 of your fellow chamber members, business owners, and employees. There are Chamber Ribbon Cuttings, After Hours, and the Annual Chamber Banquet. Your business will gain the perception of stability as a long-term operation.

How is the Chamber Funded?

The Chamber is funded through annual membership investment and special fundraising events.

When does the Chamber meet?

The Chamber has its annual Banquet in the fall, usually in late September. The various committees and councils hold regular scheduled meetings. After Hours are scheduled by the businesses throughout the year. The Chamber board also meets monthly.
