A traditional menu with turkey and all the trimmings will be served in the church’s Fellowship Hall from 11 am to 2 pm. For those unable to travel to the meal site, home delivered meals will be available by reservation.       Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk Thursday, race time is 8:00 a.m. Location—Downtown Moberly, MO. The 5K Run/Walk will begin and end on Reed Street in Downtown Moberly, Missouri. Race day registration and packet pickup begins at 6:45 a.m. inside the Trinity-UMC Fellowship Hall located on Fourth and Rollins. Race will be held rain or shine. Please use the parking lots next to the church on 4th or Rollins. The run/walk pre-registration fee is $20.00, after November 13th, fee is $22.00. Each pre-registration will receive a T-shirt. The proceeds from the race are going to the Christos Food Pantry.

    • Cowboys Christmas for Kids
      21st Annual Cowboys Christmas for Kids Benefit Trail Ride. All canned goods and toys will be given to the Salvation Army to distribute to needy families in the area. The ride will begin at the location of the old sale barn on Rt. M and S. Morley St. at approximately 12 noon and will end at the Lodge in Rothwell Park. There will be a dinner for everyone that participates after the ride. A benefit auction will follow the ride and dinner at approximately 3 pm at the Lodge. A raffle for a horse saddle will be held after the auction. A benefit dance will be held on the Nov. 29th at the Moose Lodge. Doors open at 7 pm. And dance will be from 8 to midnight. Hailed for their outstanding musicianship, the Arianna String Quartet has firmly established itself as one of America’s finest chamber ensembles. The Chicago Tribune praised their performance for “tonal warmth, fastidious balance…expressive vitality” and the Pretoria News in South Africa noted their “emotional commitment and fluent virtuosity.” Formed in 1992, the ASQ garnered national attention by winning prestigious competitions worldwide. Last season included returns to Brazil and South Africa, performances throughout the United States, and a residency at the Peabody Institute of Music, among many others. The ASQ are full-time faculty at the University of Missouri – St. Louis and is also Ensemble-in-Residence at the Touhill Performing Arts Center in St. Louis, where they present their own series of concerts.
