- The Great Kaplan
The Moberly Area Council of the Arts--The Great Kaplan- 7pm-Moberly Municipal Auditorium. Admission: Adults $15, Student $10. (This performance is not included in the season ticket package.) Inspired by the antics of Sellers, Victor Borge, The Smothers Brothers and the illustrious Wile E. Coyote among others. The Great David Kaplan welcomes spectators young and old into a wonderfully strange world they will not soon forget. Perhaps Kaplan’s most spectacular accomplishment is emerging from the performance in one piece. As his world seemingly crumbles, he manages to take a rogue bowling ball, juggle furniture, perform feats of prestidigitation, and play melodies on “concert ballons”, turkey baster and his great grandfathers ukulele,--all to the delight of the charmed audience. Don’t miss this one! A special performance brought to you through a partnership with the Moberly Parks and Recreation.
